What is the Youth 7 Summit?
The Youth 7 (Y7) Summit is one of the official engagements held during the G7 Summit and brings together youth delegates from all G7 member states and the European Union to discuss and form policy recommendations.
Through our chairship of the Y7, Young Diplomats of Canada (YDC) will convene an ambitious cohort of youth leaders to develop innovative approaches to tackling complex global challenges.

Young Diplomats of Canada (YDC) is a non-partisan, non-profit, youth-led organization that equips and empowers young leaders to contribute to and participate in global decision-making spaces. Working locally and globally, YDC aims to be a trusted partner in supporting Canadian youth to access international decision making spaces, with the goal of meaningfully shaping both global and domestic public policy.
